Privacy Policy

1. The short version

Paidlio the app runs entirely on your machine. It does not phone home, send telemetry, or sync your data anywhere. The company that sells Paidlio only collects the minimum needed to take your money, deliver your licence, and answer your support questions.

2. What the Paidlio app collects

Nothing. The app is offline. It has no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporter, no usage tracking. It does not call our servers for anything except:

• Once on launch, an HTTPS request to check whether a newer version exists. This request reveals only your IP address (to whoever serves the file) and your installed version. You can disable this check in Settings.
• If you configure email sending, the app contacts your own SMTP server. We never see those messages.

Your customer data, invoices, payments, and any other content stay on your device. We have no copy. We could not produce one if asked.

3. What this website collects

• Contact form: name, email, and your message. Submitted via Cloudflare Turnstile (which checks you are human) and forwarded to our support inbox. Turnstile may set a session cookie and reads basic browser signals to verify you.
• Server logs: standard web server logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) retained for security purposes.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: our hosting provider runs a lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics beacon on each page view to count visits and tell us roughly which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, does not follow you across sites, and the IP addresses it sees are anonymised. Cloudflare's analytics privacy is documented at cloudflare.com/web-analytics. You can block it in your browser if you prefer — the site works identically with or without it.
• No advertising or behavioural trackers: no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no advertising cookies, no retargeting. Fonts and on-page animations are served from this site, not from third-party CDNs.

4. What we collect when you buy

• Order details: your name, email address, and country (for tax purposes).
• Payment information: handled directly by our payment processor. We never see your card number.
• Licence record: a record that we issued a key to you, used for support and refunds.

5. Who we share with

Only what's necessary to sell, deliver, and support the product:

• Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record) processes your payment, handles applicable sales tax / VAT / GST, issues your invoice, and emails your licence key. They retain order data for the legal periods their jurisdiction requires.
• Cloudflare protects the contact form via Turnstile and serves this website. They see basic browser signals on form submission and standard web-server data (IP, request URL) on every page view.
• Mailgun is the email service that delivers transactional support replies and routes your contact-form messages to our support inbox. We do not use any third-party email-marketing or CRM tool.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever.

6. How long we keep things

• Order and licence records: 7 years (tax retention).
• Support emails: 3 years.
• Contact form messages: 1 year unless an ongoing conversation.
• Server logs: 90 days.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Use the contact form. We respond within 30 days. Note that some records (purchases, tax-relevant data) we are legally required to retain.

8. Cookies

This website uses one cookie: a session cookie set by Cloudflare Turnstile when you submit the contact form. There are no analytics, advertising, or preference cookies.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, the "last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
